Classic Skips & Skipless Rules
Every time is filed under one of three categories depending on the skips used in the run. You don't choose the category yourself: it is set automatically from your answers to the skip questions when you submit a time.
All Skips
Anything goes. Every known skip and shortcut is allowed, including the ones that are not accepted in Classic Skips.
Classic Skips
Only the skips marked as Classic Skips on each track are allowed. Using any other skip moves the run to All Skips.
Skipless
No skips at all. The run has to follow the regular layout of the track.
How the leaderboards combine them
Categories are cumulative: a Skipless time is also a valid Classic Skips and All Skips time.
- Filtering by All Skips shows every time.
- Filtering by Classic Skips shows Classic Skips and Skipless times.
- Filtering by Skipless shows only Skipless times.
Below you'll find every track that has skips, with what is and isn't allowed in each category.
